The Twin Ships From The Future

Sometimes you have to look at the super-rational world of science to really twist your mind in knots, and a physicist examining the possible realities of time travel has twisted ours with his hypothesis about temporal journeys.

Robert Nemiroff of Michigan Technological University played with the maths of a faster-than-light space travel enabling time travel. He reckons that ghost ships would appear at the point of lift-off over the years following a time journey, finally wiping each other out as the time-jumping ship returns.
