When news writers reach out for a comparison to describe something extremely unlikely – a lottery win perhaps – they’re usually light on a lightning strike.
Peter McCathie has finally made the news writers dreams come true. The Canadian won the lottery, and as a kid he survived a lighting strike – the cumulative odds are reckoned to be about 2.6 trillion to one.
