1 – Bigfoot

Every child who grew up watching Scooby Doo knew that Bigfoot was really the sneaky looking caretaker who’d found an oil well under the fairground in a gorilla suit. The Bigfoot, or Sasquatch, is an upright, ape-like creature believed to be lurking somewhere in the forests and mountains of America’s Pacific North-west. The famous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film of a strolling Bigfoot has yet to be comprehensively debunked or backed up and the men who shot it have stuck to their story. The most recent stirrings were in August this year, when video footage from 2008 was cleaned up by enthusiast MK Davis who claimed he’d found film of the furry man washing in a stream in Bluff Creek, California.
