Cats Get Their Own Tunes

The “music” cats themselves make is famously challenging to human ears. This hasn’t stopped a classical music player from attempting to entertain felines with something to their own tastes. Forget Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical (if you can), David Teie has based his compositions on the noises cats are likely to like – bird song (or retreating bird screech), other cats’ purrs, milk slurping and the like. The idea was good enough to raise $30,000, 50% more than the original target for David’s Kickstarter campaign, so look out for cat music online soon.
