Huge Disc Over Missouri

Halloween night was a busy one for sky watchers in Missouri in 2011.

Trick or Treat night saw six UFO sightings and the state was the busiest in the USA for unusual or unexplained objects in the sky during October 2011.

The one that garnered most attention was a giant disc. A number of people reported seeing the object, and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) collected eight witness accounts and even video clips.

One witness told MUFON that “pulsating and blinking multi-coloured lights,” were seen before the craft turned very slowly and accelerated away.

Rather than inspiring fear, this apparent UFO actually made quite a nice impression on viewers, who thought it was playing a game with them and called the unusual noise it made, “pleasant”.
